Deb Hooker, B.A. B.Ed., ACC

Deb Hooker is a Certified Professional Coach with an instinctive ability to understand and anticipate what action is required to move people forward.

Through years of experience in working in multiple key local, national and global industries, Deb has witnessed first-hand the struggles associated with organizations facing rapid change in a challenging diverse labour market. 

Deb has also assisted individuals who have made voluntary and non-voluntary exits from their employers.  This ability to work with the business side and the delivery side of a workforce adjustment has enriched Deb’s ability to provide effective support where needed. She has conducted notification training sessions at Mount Royal College, as well as various human resource professionals and line managers on the difficult and often emotionally charged planning and execution of workforce adjustments.

Deb holds a BA and B.Ed. from York University.  Deb was trained through Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and is an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaches Federation (ICF). In addition, she is a certified facilitator of the Coaches Clinic Workshop ® through Coach U and is qualified to administer and interpret Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) through Psychometrics Canada.
